Sabtu dan Ahad lepas aku telah mengorbankn waktu wekend dengan menghadiri advocacy traning bertempat di Kompleks Mahkamah Ayer Keroh, full sponsored by my master, tak kan nak cakap tak nak plak kan?? Harusla jawab ye je. Hehehhe.
Wat we learned on 1st day is exam in chief our witness and cross exam opponent witness. Basically the facts it about accident.
The traning is practical traning where u play your role as counsel and witness and the trainer will straight away give a comment and simple demonstration.
2nd round is you repair your mistake based on wat your trainer comments, it take turns and turn where you have chance to act as leading counsel, opponent counsel and also the witness. What i found difficult is during the cross exam, i am not doing it successfully. Here i felt that "woooow!!!", for the lawyer who did it successfully. Of course practice make perfect
3rd round is application of an injuction and my task is to oppose the application. I have no idea how to oppose, hahaaah.. i dont know wat im talking about but roughly the idea is there. During this session you have to ask your friend to record your submission after that went to the records video's review session and the trainer will give comment on that. And i did it well during the 2nd time. Yeay!!!
The Second day is almost same and the last part is submit your application. You should state your ground based on the fats and witness statement that u get from the examine witness sessions.
